Historic and Memorable Photos at the Ancient Spanish Monastery
There are many details that a bride and groom have to decide on when theyre planning their wedding. One of the most important aspects of the planning is finding the perfect location for their pre-nuptial and wedding photos. If youre in the Miami area, the Ancient Spanish Monastery is a pretty good place to start, whether youre holding your wedding there or just taking advantage of the picturesque surroundings.
What makes the Ancient Spanish Monastery special?

The Ancient Spanish Monastery was originally built in 1153 AD in Sacramenia, Spain and was then called the Monastery of Our Lady, the Queen of Angels. It was later renamed as the Monastery of St. Bernard de Clairvaux in 1174. In 1925, William Randolph Hearst bought the Cloisters and the Monastery and proceeded to dismantle the whole structure and shipped the blocks and stone to the United States. It was through the efforts of two entrepreneurs who bought the whole stock upon Hearsts death in 1952 that the Monastery was built in North Beach Miami.

The Monastery can be the perfect place for a wedding whether its in a chapel (the Monastery has three) or in a Garden (the Monastery has 5 outdoor spaces) with plenty of reception areas to consider. Principal photography may be accomplished within any of the gardens of your choice or should you use the main Romanesque and Gothic buildings as your backdrop.

Partner with an excellent Photographer

Once you see it and walk around in it, your next step is finding an excellent photographer because you may have the perfect background but if your photographer is not up to par, then your photos may not come out right. When you look for a partner photographer for your wedding photos, here are the qualities that you need to look for:

> Familiarity with the location Its an advantage for a photographer to know intimately the location hes going to shoot from. He will be able to determine the best lighting potential, the best background and be able to create memorable photos for you to cherish. Much of his time will then be focused on getting you in the right shot instead of having to waste time looking for the potential photo locations.
> Professional and experienced A professional photographer gets to his level by making ordinary backgrounds and regular people look exceptional and extraordinary. He knows what to make of a location or a set with minimal fuss, therefore there isnt wasted time. Hes familiar with his equipment, he is confident of his skills and he knows what he wants and goes for it.

> Personalized service Its not enough that a photographer has the talent to make brilliant photographs. He also needs to be able to make you feel comfortable and to tailor his services to your needs and budget. He needs to be flexible in making sure that you get what you pay for and even more.

There is a photographer that has all these qualities and more. Cohart Photography studio (www.cohartphotography.com) is your destination for making sure your wedding photographs reflect the highlights and the candid moments of your very special day.
